What is A Screensaver ?

Screensavers are programs designed not just for your viewing pleasure, but actually do an important job. They protect your monitor, from having the pixels in the screen getting damaged by preventing an image from being burning into your monitor screen through none use over a period of time. You can tell if your monitor has become damaged by the appearance of so called black spots on your monitor screen these are damaged pixels within the monitor screen/ tube.
